After two years of coronavirus-related restrictions, a large-scale Berlin Pride is taking place again on Saturday with a party atmosphere. The event, for which the organizers expect up to 500,000 participants during the course of the day, started at noon (1000 GMT) with a rally and a shower of confetti at Spittelmarkt in the Mitte district.
