Born to be electric: Seat kid Cupra all grown up with its first EV

Seat subsidiary Cupra has announced its first electric vehicle (EV), a compact called Born that’s set to roll out in European markets in the coming weeks. The Born measures 4.32 metres in length, is somewhat flatter and, with a wheelbase of 2.77 metres, also offers somewhat less space inside than the ID3, Audi E-Tron Q4 or Skoda Enyaq. Cupra puts boot capacity at 385 litres. According to Cupra, the Born will be available with a 150 kW/204 hp electric motor in the rear and a 58 kWh battery in the floor.
