Britain’s Charles and Camilla start first trip to Egypt in years

Britain’s Prince Charles and his wife Camilla on Thursday arrived in Egypt for their first visit to the country in around 15 years. The visit is part of the British heir to the throne’s first major overseas tour since the coronavirus pandemic broke out last year. The royal couple flew into Cairo from Jordan, where they had paid a two-day visit. They were welcomed in the Egyptian capital by President Abdel-Fattah al-Sissi and his wife at a presidential palace.
