Christmas tree erected in front of Chancellery in Berlin

The Christmas tree, this year a fir tree from the central German state of Thuringia, has been erected in front of the Chancellery in Berlin. The Colorado fir, which is about 15 metres tall, was delivered on a low-loader on Saturday, Larissa Schulz-Trieglaff from the Federation of German Forest Owners’ Associations told dpa. The tree was then erected in the courtyard in front of the Chancellery with the help of a crane.
