Corruption trial of ex-South African president Zuma postponed again

The trial of former South African president Jacob Zuma for corruption has been postponed once more, a court in Pietermaritzburg announced on Monday. October 17 has been set as the new date for the trial for corruption, money laundering and fraud. The reason given for the postponement is that the country’s highest court of appeal has not yet ruled on several of Zuma’s appeals, including an application for the dismissal of the state prosecutor in charge of the case.
