Czech run-off presidential election begins for Covid-19 patients

The run-off election for president in the Czech Republic has started two days early for those in isolation with Covid-19. On Wednesday, more than 80 so-called “drive-in polling stations” were open across the country. There, voters with confirmed Covid-19 cases could cast their ballot papers from their cars until late afternoon. In the first round of voting, only about 350 people had made use of this offer.
