EU leaders visit Kiev suburb left in ruins after Russian withdrawal

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi arrived in Kiev on Thursday for their first visit since the Russian invasion. One of the first stops was to the Kiev suburb of Irpin, where the bodies of nearly 300 civilians were found after Russian troops withdrew from the area at the end of March.
