A European Commission proposal to label certain investments in gas and nuclear power plants as climate-friendly has been met with criticism, including the threat of legal action from Austria. “Should these plans be implemented as they are, we will sue,” Austrian Climate Action Minister Leonore Gewessler wrote on Twitter after the commission announced the draft legislation on Saturday.
