Ferrari’s Leclerc fastest in Budapest practice, Vettel improves

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who crashed out while leading in France last weekend, was quickest in Friday practice for the Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix. Germany’s four-times world champion Sebastian Vettel, who announced on Thursday that he will retire from F1 at the end of the season, was seventh fastest in his Aston Martin in the second session having been 11th first up. Vettel won twice in Budapest in 2015 and 2017, rare successes during his time at Ferrari having never triumphed there in his Red Bull heyday.
