Germany’s Development Minister Svenja Schulze promised Ukraine an additional €52 million ($56 million) for reconstruction during a visit to Odessa in the south of the war-torn country. “We are in the midst of war to rebuild Ukraine into a free, independent Ukraine,” she said on Thursday during the 10-hour visit to the port city of Odessa.
