Political leadership in Hudson County continues to be reshuffled as a new chair of the county Democratic organization has been chosen. And if Steve Fulop becomes governor in 2025, a potential battle royale could erupt for Jersey City mayor, insiders said. On Tuesday, Anthony Vainieri, a county commissioner since 2014 which he has chaired the last six years, officially took the helm as the head of the county’s Democratic party.
