Rioting in Rotterdam at a rally against stricter anti-coronavirus rules has left people injured after police fired shots. “There are casualties in connection with the shots fired,” the police in Rotterdam announced late on Friday evening. It was not initially known how many people were injured. Earlier it was said that officers had fired several warning shots. A water cannon was used. During the protest by hundreds of people, there were incidents of arson, fireworks were set off and police and firefighters were pelted with objects.
