Mario Draghi, who offered his resignation last week after his coalition fell apart, tells Italian lawmakers he is prepared to stay on as prime minister but only if the feuding governing parties unite behind him and trust is restored. Draghi, the former chief of the European Central Bank and one of the European Union’s elder statesmen, laid out his conditions in an address to the Senate on Wednesday morning.
