Japan logs 897.3 bil. yen current account surplus in Nov.

Japan logged a current account surplus of 897.3 billion yen ($7.8 billion) in November, the Finance Ministry said Wednesday. Among key components, the country had a goods trade deficit of 431.3 billion yen and a services trade deficit of 214.2 billion yen, according to the ministry’s preliminary report. Primary income, which reflects returns on overseas investments, posted a surplus of 1.79 trillion yen.
