Klaebo closes in on Tour de Ski title, Nepryayeva opens women’s side

Norway’s Johannes Hosflot Klaebo is in a strong position to reclaim cross country’s Tour de Ski title going into the traditional Val di Fiemme finale after winning a classic sprint in Oberstdorf on Saturday. Klaebo won the Tour in 2019 and his victory in Germany was his third in four stages so far of a shortened six in this edition. He posted 2 minutes 54.77 seconds over the 1.5 kilometre sprint to win by 0.37 seconds from compatriot Erik Valnes while Paal Golberg completed a Norwegian podium sweep more than 3 seconds further back.
