Michigan redistricting panel should not have met in closed session, AG says

DETROIT — Michigan’s Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission should not have held a closed session last month nor should it have kept two memos discussed in that meeting confidential, Attorney General Dana Nessel said in an opinion released Monday.
