NASA to send two new helicopters to Mars for transport of samples

After the successful test of the Mars helicopter Ingenuity, US space agency NASA wants to send two more mini helicopters to the Red Planet. The two helicopters could potentially help collect samples to be sent back to Earth, NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA), which is also involved in the project, announced at a press conference on Wednesday. Ingenuity landed on Mars in February 2021 with the rover Perseverance.
