Norway’s King Harald, 85, admitted to hospital in stable condition

Norway’s 85-year-old King Harald V has been brought to hospital where he’s being examined due to a fever, the Royal House said in a statement on Thursday. The monarch’s condition is stable, it added. Harald had recently participated in a sailing world championship on Lake Geneva with the Norwegian boat Sira. In the past years he has undergone several medical procedures. In 2021, he had surgery on his leg, while in 2022, an artificial heart valve was replaced.
