Police report vehicle driving into crowd in Berlin

A vehicle drove into a crowd of people near the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in the western city centre of Berlin, according to initial police reports. According to dpa information, it could have been a lorry. People are said to have been injured. There was no further information at first. The location is sensitive as an Islamist terrorist attack took place at a Berlin Christmas market there in 2016.
