Pope Francis to meet Indigenous people in Canada

Pope Francis plans to meet First Nations, Métis and Inuit people during his trip to Canada on Monday, which follows the gruesome discoveries of hundreds of children’s bodies near former Catholic boarding schools last year. The 85-year-old is expected to visit a parish in Maskwacis, about 100 kilometres south of Edmonton, on Monday morning. There he wants to pray at a graveyard.
