Colombian singer Shakira could face eight years in a Spanish prison for tax evasion, along with a €23.8 million ($24.1 million) fine, a Barcelona state prosecutor demanded on Friday. The star is accused of failing to pay a total of €14.5 million in taxes due in Spain between 2012 and 2014. The singer – famous for hits like “Waka Waka” and “Hips Don’t Lie” – denies this.
