Journal Square Councilman Richard Boggiano slammed runoff opponent Kevin Bing over a proposal to incorporate bike lanes on several busy streets, but the public jab drew an oddly cool response from a major benefactor, Mayor Steve Fulop. In a Facebook post Sunday, Fulop declined to say he sided with Boggiano’s contention that turning Baldwin and Summit avenues into one-way streets would cost neighborhood residents 70 on-street parking spaces.
