Thousands protest against pandemic policies in several German cities

Several thousand people demonstrated in German cities on Saturday in the latest protests against policies to contain the coronavirus pandemic. The largest event was held in Hamburg, where some 13,700 people attended, according to police. Earlier, police had given a turnout estimate of 16,000. The organizers had initially expected 11,000 to turn out to the rally, held under the banner, “Enough!
