Max Verstappen was fastest in first practice on Friday for the Canadian Formula One Grand Prix in Montreal. Red Bull’s defending champion Verstappen, who won last weekend in Baku, holds a 21-point advantage in the overall standings ahead of team-mate Sergio Perez. All eyes during the three practice sessions in Montreal will be on whether teams get to grips better with their cars bouncing or “porpoising”, which has marred the season so far.
