Vienna honours victims of 2020 terror attack: ‘This city is strong’

Vienna commemorated the victims of a terrorist attack on Tuesday, one year to the day after an Islamic State sympathiser shot four people dead in the Austrian capital. “This city is strong,” Mayor Michael Ludwig said at a memorial event to mark the anniversary. Prior to his speech, the Social Democrat had met with more than 20 relatives of the victims to express his condolences.
