Vingegaard effectively wraps up Tour de France triumph

Jonas Vingegaard was poised for his first Tour de France title after the Dane successfully defended his yellow jersey on Saturday by finishing second in the 40.7-kilometre individual time trial. He is 3 minutes 34 seconds ahead of defending champion Tadej Pogacar, who finished third in the battle against the clock from Lacapelle-Marival to Rocamadour.
