There were sporadic outbreaks of violence during protests against coronavirus measures in Brussels on Sunday. Police car windows were broken, barricades were set on fire and people threw fireworks, according to images shown by Belga news agency. The police confirmed they had repelled the protesters with water cannon and tear gas on Sunday. They said troublemakers would be arrested in a statement in the early evening.
